Prayers and Dreams

Most folks have dreams of traveling to far away lands. They dream of walking through the busy streets of Rome, and gazing at the Eiffel Tower. They dream of the delicious foods and experiencing new things. I just happen to be one of those people. But I am blessed unlike most people with the once in a lifetime opportunity to fulfill these dreams.

In the summer of 2012, right after my high school graduation, a group of homeschoolers and foreign language students will be taking a trip to Greece, Italy, and France. They will be spending around two weeks in these beautiful countries. They will be touring with EF tours which is a wonderful educational tour trip planner and guide. We will be provided with wonderful hotels, delicious meals, and transportation. Along with a tour guide with us every step of the way. This is certainly a once in a lifetime trip. If I were to go I would also be working towards earning one last high school credit, whether it would count or not, it would allow me to enrich the experience as it includes journaling, essay writing, and lots of reading.

This trip would be a dream come true for me, but of course, it is pretty expensive. I would have to be willing to give up a lot, including but not limited to Christmas, and my birthday, in order to go to this, unless of course I raise the money. I’m just asking that you all pray with me right now as I make this decision as whether to go or not, and if I choose to go, that God would supply ALL my needs. Thanks 🙂

  1. Greece?!? Thats my dream! And this may sound a bit odd and cheesey, but I was inspired to visit Greece after watching The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants! Haha! It just looks so beauitful!
Lord willing, I will one day get to go visit there! And, if He wills, you will as well! What a trip that would be! Greece and Italy in the same trip! wow! 🙂
