Let’s just take a moment to applaud Amazon right now in this crazy Christmas season.
Okay, now let’s get to it. Once upon a time (twice actually) I worked at a shopping mall around Christmas. I did all of my Christmas shopping at the mall, probably getting ripped off with each purpose. This year, I work from home. I don’t go out and about very often and pretty much stay locked in my apartment 24/7. How’s a girl to get her Christmas shopping done without actually leaving her house?
Hellooooo Amazon, what a wonderful discovery this Christmas. Now, don’t get me wrong, we are regular Amazon users, we even have Prime, but this is my first year Amazon Christmas Shopping. So far I am yet to walk into a store to buy a Christmas present and let me tell you, it’s fantastic. Getting to do all my Christmas shopping in my pajamas while watching Parks and Rec? Best thing ever.
I know, I know, but what if it’s late, or broken, or heaven forbid LOST! There are risks with everything good in life and for me, the risk of this possible happening is totally worth being able to shop from home.
So far I haven’t even set foot in a store to Christmas shop. At this point every package has been delivered except one which is probably my fault for being a procrastinator and only ordering it early this week. I will have to brave a few stores for a couple minimal purchases this weekend, but overall being able to mark off most purchases online? Fan-freaking-tastic.
So if you DON’T online shop, maybe you should start! Although I recommend starting next year because I have a feeling most of your presents would be late if you started now.
Do you online shop? Do you love Amazon as much as I do (probably not)? Do you spread your Christmas shopping out or wait until the last minute?
P.S. — No, this post was not sponsored by Amazon, I really do just love them this much, although maybe the should consider sponsoring me, I think I’m a good spokesperson don’t you?
