Last week was a lazy disaster. We put off the grocery shopping for far too long, forgot to clean the kitchen, and opted out of making dinner too many times. It was discouraging to say the least. By the end of the day on Friday I could feel the effects of the crappy food we had consumed all week. Following this horrible week, I resolved that this week would be better. Armed with a meal plan, grocery shopping completed, and high hopes I think it will be accomplished. In order to eliminate the constant junk food consumption or dangerous drive through pitfalls, I actually planned every meal for this week. That almost never happens, but I am armed and ready to tackle this week.
Apart from the poor food consumption, this week wasn’t too horrible. Work had it’s tough points, and I dealt with some grief over a family loss, but husband and I had some good evenings talking, a fun date night, and I even managed some me time. Here’s hoping for an even better week.

Along with these dinner plans I have some breakfast foods figured out for the week consisting of smoothies, breakfast burritos, and more. Lunch plans consist of mostly left overs, as well as some soup and sandwiches. I truly hope I can stick to my guns this week and not give in to the constant easy way out.
