Eats // Lasagna Soup

I have a horrible habit of making the same meals over and over again. Honestly, I have no excuses. I look at tons of recipes each week on Pinterest, I have cookbooks, and basically an endless access to different recipes. Sometimes I even branch out and make a new Pinterest recipe, but most of the time, even if we LOVE it, I just forget about it and don’t make it again. I feel like I make the same meals over and over again. I think part of this has to do with mindlessly making dinner, not wanting to look at a recipe or worry about strange ingredients. But this ends now! I really need to branch out and try new things, and when I like them add them to the normal list of meals!

This venture to find “new favorites” begins with Lasagna Soup. I had pinned this recipe a few weeks ago, and when trying to pick a soup to make this week I ran across it again and decided to give it a go. This is husband approved, and honestly such a simple meal. I’m sharing a few iPhone (because my camera was dead, bad blogger) pics of this  just to give you an idea of how delicious it looks!

It truly is as simple as mixing up a few ingredients, letting it simmer, and serving! Topped with a delicious cheese mixture, of course. I even served it in oven safe bowls and threw them in the oven for a few minutes just to make the cheese all the more melty.

Now hurry and make Lasagna Soup before the cold weather is gone!

What are you favorite cold weather meals? You know the ones, that warm you from the inside out? I’d love to have more cold weather meal suggestions!
