The Deans Eat // Thirty Seven

While driving home from a weekend with family yesterday, husband and I were discussing the weather where I made the comment that March surely came in like a lion, but hopefully it would go out like a lamb. He looked at me like I was crazy and had somehow never heard that statement. Will someone please confirm that I’m not totally crazy and that is a common phrase about March? In like a lion, out like a lamb! Needless to say, the weather was p e r f e c t this weekend. Sunshine, low 50’s, melting snow, I basically felt like it was summer vacation! In addition to the perfect weather, we got an extra hour of day light!! (I’m wording it this was so I don’t mourn my hour of sleep lost) Husband and I were pretty productive when we got home yesterday. Cleaning, unpacking, laundry, and grocery shopping! I think I could get used to this extra daylight!

This week is shaping up to be a pretty good one. Not too much going on, although Husband’s dad is visiting this coming weekend! I’m also hoping to get some work done in our guest bedroom for preparation. Our menu isn’t anything fancy this week either, although, slightly less cold weather food in celebration of the pretend spring-time weather.
