The Deans Eat // Forty

This last week was a complete disaster food wise. Because of  busy schedules  laziness, grocery shopping never happened and we were on survival mode all week. We ate out far too much and spent way too much money. I finally ended up going grocery shopping on Saturday for Sunday-Sunday and I think I overbought things we didn’t need, and under bought things we did need (No one needs to eat lunch, right?). It will be an interesting week to say the least and I’m sure I will end up going back to the store  sending husband to the store at some point this week.

However, despite the rough week, we survived and managed to eat at least a few meals at home. This week should be a much better week though. The house is reasonably clean, the grocery shopping is done, and there is no snow on the forecast for the week. What else can a girl ask for? There are also a few exciting things this week, my mom’s birthday as well as Easter! We are hoping to have some friends over for dinner, and I’m fighting all desires to dye Easter Eggs on Saturday. I will also be participating in a sunrise communion service on Sunday that I am so looking forward to. What are your Easter weekend plans?
