The Deans Eat // Fifty Two

Oh no! My apologies, I wrote this and everything but failed to ever press publish. It was a long Monday, be nice. Better late than never right?

It has been a good weekend. Always ending too quickly, but it was good. I wrote a little list of things I hoped to get accomplished this weekend and I’m happy to report all were accomplished with the small exception of unpacking. Saturday I got to talk with my lovely friend in NH, created a little box for some earring storage, and watched Insurgent with Husband. Then yesterday I mixed up some cookies and convinced Husband to finish his unpacking, so we at least made some progress on that one.

This week is our final week of summer, with Husband starting school the following week. I have to admit I have thoroughly enjoyed these two weeks of him not taking summer classes, but it will be nice to get back into a new routine. Plus, he’s entering his SENIOR YEAR! So this will hopefully be the end of school for him, at least for now.

I’m ready for fall, are you? I’m missing soups and other cold weather foods, pumpkin everything, boots, sweaters, and everything else that comes along with fall. Needless to say, I felt it was necessary to throw a soup onto the menu this week. Fall come quickly!

Snacks || Fruit, Veggies, Cheese & Crackers, Pretzels, and for a couple guilty pleasure sweets: Gelato and Cookie Dough

Yesterday I made a 3 cheese chicken Alfredo bake, today I am making Chile hatche chicken with cheesy bacon and ranch potatoes wedges and Amish cinnamon bread, tomorrow I making a lemon and pepper pork tenderloin with green beans and mashed potatoes, Thursday Asian chicken with sesame noodles, Friday I am making carnitas, Saturday Mexican stuffed shells, and Sunday double stuffed garlic and lemon chicken and corn
