I’ve missed this little link-up so I knew I couldn’t let another month slip by without joining in, even if I am a little late to the party (Okay, so late that link-up has closed…oh well). I also can’t believe it’s FEBRUARY! How is it possible the entire first month of 2016 has passed? Everyone says time goes faster the older you get, if its moving at such a rapid pace now, I can’t imagine what it will be like in 20 years. Okay – enough babbling. Let’s get down to this months post about what I’m currently up to!
SENDING | lots of text messages. My sister gets married in less than 4 months and there is so much to do. Being spread across WV leaves us (mom, sister, me) sending texts back and forth daily covering wedding details. I’ve got a folder of picture on my phone for inspiration and important things, and I’m sure there will be hundreds of more texts sent over the next 4 months. I’m not complaining though, I love this stuff!
EATING | Soup, soup, and more soup. I could seriously eat a soup/stew/chili every night of the week. Unfortunately Husband isn’t quite as ecstatic about it as I am so I try to limit it to once a week. Our current favorite? Lasagna Soup. I actually wrote a blog post about this soup last year, just so you can get an idea about how much I love it – READ THIS. We’ve had it two weeks in a row now, and I don’t even care.
DREAMING | Of life after May. This final semester of college for Husband is a tough one. He’s got his nose in the books most hours of the day, but we can see the light at the end of the tunnel and its looking so very sweet. We are definitely dreaming of life post-graduation as we try to figure out where we are going to live and what we are going to do. My mind is basically in full on day dreamer mode 24/7. (To get a glimpse into my dreaming, you should check out my Pinterest.)
SMELLING | Right now? My Bath & Body Works Copacabana Beach candle (dreaming of warm weather!). But recently I’ve been smelling more essential oils. We had gotten out of the habit of diffusing Lavender & Cedar-wood at night to help us sleep, but we recently the diffuser up again and it was so wonderful to fall asleep to those comforting scents, plus it really does help me sleep better! I imagine this will be a nightly ritual again.
HEARTING | Raleigh, NC. Husband and I are starting to think of where our life might take us after graduation, and Raleigh, NC is an exciting possibility. Based on all of our research we are certainly falling in love and this weekend we are gonna go see if this love is for real! We are definitely hearting Raleigh right now, but who knows what our future will hold.
