About Me

Hello friends! Just in case you couldn’t tell, I’m Meg.DSC_0411

I’ve been sharing parts of my life on the internet for the better part of 10 years and while I’ve changed quite a bit through the years, my desire to share with you all in this space has not gone away. As you look through the Archives you will see ramblings, projects, lots of lists, meal plans, and more. As we move into the future I hope there will be plenty of those things as well as helpful ideas, heart spilling, motherhood experiences, homemaking adventures, and other things that speak to the woman, to the wife, to the mother, to the grace seeker, to the introvert, to the creative, to the friend, and to the human.

A few things you should know about me:

I said “I Do” at the young age of 19. No, we weren’t expecting & yes, things are still great.

We recently moved from our beloved West Virginia mountains, to the greater Cincinnati area.

We are expecting our first baby in March 2017.

I’m typically the one behind the camera, not in front of it. Working on that one.

I’m always watching through at least one series on Netflix, possibly two.

I’m a bit obsessed with birth and I’m working on finishing my Birth Doula training.

I have problems finishing projects. Lots of dreaming with little follow through.

I’m an introvert, despite fooling everyone the first 20 years of my life.

I’m an obsessive avid list maker.

I’m overwhelmed with grace and mercy thanks to a Sovereign, Loving God.

Pizza is my favorite food – NY style with pepperoni and cheese.

I would rather be cold than hot any day. layers + blankets = good! sweating = bad!

I think sharing the good and bad parts of life is good for my heart and helps me process and keep things in check. I hope you’ll follow along on my journey!

  1. Meg, you are such a blessing. To see one so young loving the Lord the way you do is uplifting & encouraging. Years ago when I needed help, your sweet Dad (detective then) helped me & we have remained friends though we seldom see each other. He always talked about his girls – the loves of his life – and about his Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ. May the Lord continue to bless you and restore your Dad’s health completely.
